Ukraine has been fighting for its freedom and integrity while enduring suffering and tragedy. Technology is just one of the ways that combat is expressed. However, the development of military tech is currently an increasing trend. Ukrainians now urgently need to build drones, and electronic warfare devices and create analytics tools to protect their lives. The founding partner of Roosh Sergey Tokarev discussed the ongoing advancements in military technology.
Ukraine creates its own defense technology
Ukrainians are widely utilizing new technologies today and have come to modernize their outdated USSR-era armaments as well. They update the outdated drones, as Sergey Tokarev emphasizes, enabling them to fly over 1,200 kilometers without being detected by Russian air defense systems. Nonetheless, Ukrainians never stop inventing new things that can stave off danger. For instance, they invented a low-cost, high-tech air defense system to quickly identify Russian Shahed drones by sound.
The establishment of the military technology cluster, as declared by Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, is among other significant accomplishments in the development of military technologies. Also, because of their numerous benefits, drone development is moving along at the fastest rate in military tech. A UAV can strike any object without endangering human life. Sergey Tokarev brings up the Ukrainian project Army of Drones, for which 20 million hryvnias were allocated to create skilled, domestically produced unmanned drones.
Remote-control innovations like small jet UAVs and unmanned tanks have made significant contributions to the development of military technology. Although they are somewhat more expensive, trained experts’ lives can be saved by them. Another item that will be very helpful on the battlefield is currently being developed. It will enable one to bury a box containing a “swarm” of drones on the battlefield. And once opened under specific circumstances, it will engage and eliminate the adversary using tiny charges.
Sergey Tokarev believes that robots are not yet effective enough to be used on the battlefield and that the moment is not yet right. The businessman points out that because wars can last a long time, Ukrainians must constantly be well-prepared to defend themselves against aggressor nations and create their own military innovations.
IT collaborates on developing military technology
The defense industry requires assistance in developing “smart” and cutting-edge technologies. Tokarev invites IT professionals to join the defense effort and take part in creating military technology as a result. Several professionals are already working on projects like creating electronic warfare systems, unmanned drone control systems, and satellite image analysis.
Sergey Tokarev himself offers such a reward. He is active in relevant fields like finance and business. Yet, his company, Roosh, is not engaged in any military endeavors.
The businessman emphasizes the value of employing analytical techniques to improve security in particular. He thinks analytics will rule the world in the future.
