Imagine holding in your hand a pen that gives you the power to create your own life story? In the T.V series, “Once Upon a Time”, the Author has that such power. If he chooses, he can use his quill to create whatever story he wants. Only meant to record history, one Author uses it to create history. What would you do if you had that magical quill in your hand today? What role would you design for yourself?
In this week’s #5MinMotivation, my challenge is to get you to realize that you can design your life story. You may not have the power to control everything that comes your way but you can choose how you react to what comes your way. I am sure this is not the first time you have heard this statement before. My challenge this week is that if you have not changed your mindset on this, start today.
What role will you choose to play?
Will you be the victim, viewing your life through a filter where you feel you have no control? Do you feel powerless to live your life with intention?

Sometimes you may even play the role of the villain in your own life story. The Antagonist tries to prevent the hero from succeeding or being happy. When you give in to Fear, or inconsistency or fail to determine your priorities, you are preventing your main character (YOU) from achieving his goals.

You are the main character in your life and your story is being filmed right now. With the right mindset, you can be the Hero and tackle whatever scene comes your way. You will face struggle, but you will not let that hold you down.
If you had a call from a producer today who wanted to create a new reality show of your life, would you act any differently? When you wake up tomorrow, would you set different priorities? Use your imagination and create that story today. What would you do differently?

Take the time today and write down 1 goal you want to accomplish in the next 90 days. Now, determine what action you need to take every day in order to achieve your 90-day goal. Be the Hero on the journey to accomplish that goal.
