Have a plan for the week ahead so you can maximize your time and not have to spend hours flicking through your diary trying to work out what you have got going on. Plan your meals for the whole week as well as any appointments or events.

Keep a pen and paper by your bedside so you can jot down things that come into your head as you fall asleep or first thing in the morning – that way you won’t forget it! If possible, try to do this before Friday evening, so you don’t have to worry about it over the weekend.

Set deadlines for yourself

 Give yourself a time limit for getting tasks done. You might even set an alarm to go off when the time is up or ask a friend to call and check on your progress. This is especially helpful if you tend to take on too many things at once and end up feeling overwhelmed and procrastinating until things get pushed back even further.
