At the time of this writing, I typed “New Year New You” into Google search and came up with about 132,000,000 results. What does that symbolize? Are there that many people trying to make the New Year a better year? Is the desire that strong for you to become a better you?
Is it about rebooting, or about continuing on the right foot?
Whatever it is about, it is up to you.
In this week’s #5MinMotivation, I share a video from Absolute Motivation. It is a YouTube video that takes excerpts from Great Public speakers such as Jim Rohn and Tai Lopez.
Whatever you want this year to represent to you, I want you to succeed in doing just that. Sometimes, you need a little push.
It’s Up to You – Motivational Video
Some of my favorite quotes and sayings from the video:
“Never believe a prediction that doesn’t empower you. How many predictions have been thrown at you your whole life?”
[tweetthis]“You will be told so many things. You must only listen to that which empowers you.”[/tweetthis]
Our minds are crowded with so much input. Let’s learn to delete that which does not add value to our lives. Let’s learn to ignore that which does not take you closer to your goal.
“It’s not important how long you live. What’s important is how you live.” – Jim Rohn
“Feed and strengthen your mind.”
What are you doing on a daily basis to ensure your energy levels remain high? How are you nourishing your mind and soul?
“The person who has never made a mistake, has never done anything.”
Sometimes we are our biggest critic. You will make mistakes, we all do. Don’t be so hard on yourself.
Spend each day trying to be a little wiser than you were when you woke up.
It’s all about growth, no matter how small that growth may be.
Step by step you get ahead but not necessarily in fast spurts. You build discipline by preparing for fast spurts. Slug it out one inch at a time day by day.
What was your favorite quote from the video?
Our lives can get pretty hectic and it can be easy to get lost in our actions. When we are so focused on what is ahead, we forget to pause, reflect and find ways to energize our minds. These 5-minute motivation posts are meant to give you that recharge. The goal is to give you a 5-minute Vitamin for your mind through quotes, posts and videos. It is also meant to challenge your thinking and inspire you to take action.
